How many adventure can one person pack into five years?
A lot, it turns out. After graduating from my high school in the Kansas City suburbs, I moved to Fort Worth to attend Texas Christian University, where I matriculated with a degree in journalism in May 2014.
During my college journalism career, I took internships that lead to me to work in Virginia (USA TODAY) and Massachusetts (The Cape Cod Times and Patch.com). One semester, I studied abroad at La Universidad Pablo de Olavide in Seville, Spain.
After graduation, I worked as the education reporter at a daily newspaper in Fort Myers, Florida, where I learned the true value of a good bottle of sunscreen, among other things.
After satiating my wanderlust, I’m excited to develop my Marketing career back in my hometown of Kansas City with my husband and our miniature poodle, Willie.
